On Saturday, I met Sebastian Vettel at Goodwood.

Totally worth being crushed against the barriers for. This was at the assembly area where they get the cars ready for the hill climb. I never thought I’d even see him, let alone meet him, it was so hectic.

Suddenly he was there next to Kylie, and while his mechanics ran the engine he came over to chat to us, the flawless man that he is. Ahh I  was in a complete state of shock for the whole thing, ngl, and when he actually asked me if I was having a good day, I almost cried. I somehow managed to say yes and wished him luck for the rest of the season as he signed my book. <3

He went back to Kylie, but this little girl appeared next to me and started calling his name, so he came back over, and she gave him an early birthday card :’) I couldn’t believe it, he was inches away from me again, ahh, and he was so sweet about the card. She started crying and he hugged her.

Seriously, I had the utmost respect and adoration for this driver before this weekend of course, but meeting him and seeing the way he treats fans inspired me a whole lot more. F1 is so damn lucky to have such a wonderful human being as a double world champion, and I will support him forever.

OH HOLLY. :’D
